meetups.




it feels good catching up with peeps, especially those whom i've not contacted for quite sometime due to whatever reasons or another.

it was jy's 21st bday and i suggested meeting up for lunch the next day.
at first i thought it'll be awkward, i was afraid we might not have stuffs to talk about since it have been sucha long time since we last met. but man was i wrong! he seemed to have matured(i said it was due to army but he claimed to be age), especially the things he advised and of course, the topics we talked about. it then appeared to me that actually whats most impt is one's character and not just looks.

i thought about it, i can't possibly go out with someone handsome but has zero things to talk about w me. yes, i may be able to endure staring at him for one whole day, but there'll never be a next time. to me, being charismatic is being someone who is able to hold a deep conversation with his own opinions and someone who is willing to share.

and i was in town catching killers with shir this evening, when after tt, she ps-ed me for dinner w her friend. so, i tried my luck, scrolled down my contact list, randomly msged kk to see if he was in town. and yes, he was! indeed, singapore isn't very big.

he was at lucky plaza to get his camera stuffs after school, so we met at wisma starbucks and chatted. the last time i saw kk was like 2 - 3 mths back at oub when i was still working. and he still is now, i was shocked. the awkwardness lasted for the first few minutes when he saw me in short hair and as we began talking about everything and anything, the invisible wall in between seem to slowly disappear. from family to his likings for OLs to his studies to being president of np sailling to gay encounters to ahlians and xmm etc. time flies, 2 hours of chatting with a grande espresso frap felt like just a few minutes.

i know i could do with more meetups. i like to hear the happenings of others' life(maybe i'm just v kpo). i always feel that friends are angels sent by god into our lives, they must be, cause it was never just so coincidental meeting someone. be it good or bad friends, i know we'll always learn smth from tt particular someone.

i like it this way but someone seemed to have caught the jealously bug.
